The plot of PUBG Mobile 3.5 goes like this — Ice crystal’s seal is on the verge of collapse, and the Frostborne Dragon is about to take to the air. Warriors, gear up with supplies found in Frostheim and the Magic Crystal Mines, traverse through an Ice Portal to the Dragon’s Lair, and take down the mighty Frostborne Dragon!
New Themed Mode: Icemire Frontier
Frostheim
1. The village consists of a Chieftain’s Stronghold and Beast-Taming Grounds, each filled with loads of supplies, plus an Ice Crystal Crate as a final reward.
a. The chieftain’s building is situated at the center of the Stronghold, beneath which lies a ritual hall filled with supplies.
b. The Beast-Taming Grounds is a much more rugged area, with the Beast Warden’s Keep at its center.
2. Ice crystals seal the Frostborne Dragon at the very center. Some time after the match begins, the dragon’s seal will break and the snow will crumble. A sanctuary will be revealed below, where players can battle for the Ice Crystal Crate.
3. There are piles of snow in the area that can serve as cover. Players can also interact with them to turn into a snowball. Snowballs can roll around freely, but will be destroyed when attacked.
Magic Crystal Mines
1. Multiple Magic Crystal Mines can be found throughout the map. They consist of a settlement on the surface with an underground mine, which players can enter via a towering entrance to seek treasure.
2. Shatter the icicles at the center of the altar near the mine’s entrance to obtain supplies.
3. Smaller, concealed caves can be found both on the surface and underground in the mine. They are sealed with walls of ice, making them difficult to spot. Find them and destroy the ice walls to get rewards.
4. Find the Magic Crystal Crate at the center of the mine. Carefully observe its weak points and shatter it to get awesome rewards.
5. Some time after the match begins, the Frostborne Dragon will descend within the mine.
Encounter: Dragon’s Lair
1. Obtain keys from the map to unlock an Ice Portal and enter the Dragon’s Lair to challenge the Frostborne Dragon.
2. Enemy teams can also enter this area.
3. There are plenty of supplies and hidden crates to be found within the Dragon’s Lair.
4. Frostborne’s Hoard is hidden in the area.
New Gameplay Mechanics
Frostborne Dragon:
A new boss that appears in Classic Mode and the Dragon’s Lair. It has a ground form and an airborne form, and is capable of many attacks. Defeat the Frostborne Dragon in the Dragon’s Lair to get loads of supplies.
Frostfire Altar:
Altars located on the map that will regularly spawn Frostsoul Spears and Frostsoul Warhammers.
Ice Portals
1–2 Ice Portals will be activated at the start of the match. Players can enter an Ice Portal to reach the Dragon’s Lair.
New Themed Items
Frostsoul Spear: This is a consumable item. Use it to jump up high and select where to throw the spear. The spear will create a slowing field where it lands. After a short delay, you will teleport to the spear and generate a ring of ice around it.
Frostsoul Warhammer: This is a melee weapon that creates ice walls of different sizes depending on how it is used.
Dragon Horn: Use it to summon an Ice Portal to the Dragon’s Lair.
Dragon Blood: A recovery item. Use it to instantly recover Energy and Health, and gain various buffs.
New Vehicles
Mammoth: 4-Seater Vehicle
1. Players in the 3 passenger seats can fire from it.
2. It has a dance ability than can be used to perform a variety of mammoth dance emotes.
3. Hitting the weak points in its legs will weaken them until the mammoth collapses and can no longer move. It will get up again on its own after 3 seconds.
Sabertooth Tiger: 2-Seater Vehicle
1. The player in the driver’s seat can fire from it, during which the vehicle will move forward on its own.
2. Tap the Drift button while turning at high speeds to initiate a sliding drift that enables sharp turns. Then, tap the Sprint button to quickly charge forward.
3. It can easily jump up two-stories high.
Metro Royale Updates
Rules Update: You can now pick up your teammates’ gear after they get eliminated. Gear will be returned to their respective owners after a successful evacuation.
WOW Updates
Controls & Interactions Improvements
- Backpack & Quick Bar Merge:
- The number of Favorite slots has increased from 3 to 6, and number of objects per slot has increased from 8 to 20.
- Creators can customize the name of the Favorites tab.
- New TPP Editing Mode Interface: The re-editing button layout has changed from a wheel to a grid layout.
- Some buttons have been consolidated under “More” and given names.
- Improved the editor interface in Free Editing Mode and Area Editing Mode.
- You can now drag and move an object directly after selecting it in Free Editing Mode.
- Expanded the input zone for two-finger gestures.
Automatic Generation
- Text Overlay Generation: Use the Smart Generator to generate overlaying text. Enter the text you wish to generate, customize its colors and details, and choose between vertical or horizontal alignment.
- Building Generation: Use the Smart Generator to generate buildings. Choose between a residential building or a warehouse, and customize parameters such as foundation shape, roof type, and more.
Breakable Interactization
Some buildings and objects in Erangel can be made breakable, allowing pieces to be broken by various weapons.
Limited Replay
Tap the record button to record the last 30 seconds of gameplay.
WOW Resource Update
